Remnants and Relics

thourougly modern

The problem with my photography skills is that I want to take pictures before I leave for school. Which means I will have changed my outfit at least six times. sigh. And it's no good waiting till after school is over because I usually have peeled away all my acessories and extra layers and my makeup is all smudged from falling asleep in class so often.

I MADE THAT BLUE DRESS be excited.

Pale little Johnny

It is so hard deciding on what to wear when nothing matches your pale pale hair.

Workin workin workin in those WALLS! and the sourdough got super stale and hard so I made some seriously tasty bread pudding. Les Parents gobbled it up!

mishaps and left-outs

Captain's log, day 8088...

Self indulgent

Well. I was so scared to move the old medicine cabinet so I made my mom do it (I though big foot would jump out or something. our house is scary old. Which is a good thing until you have to put in a new medicine cabinet.) and I was right, something scary was behind my roach infested old med cabinet- Razors. LOTS of them. Turns out back in the day people would throw their old razors into the little slot that my roaches now use as an entryway and they just left the razors there to rust, forgotten, until reinstalling a new cabinet. They didn't count on me.
I've kept all the razors, and plan on doing an art project to decorate my room with. speaking of which, I am painting the old room white, and doing a shabby job but I like it and it keeps me busy! : )
I bought the new medicine cabinet for $10 you guys. TEN DOLLARS. at the thrift store of course, and pictures later.
bought two pretty little mirrors to put on the wall too!

I love weekends of home improvement more than anything else in the world. hands down. LOVE.

THE NEW SPECS

OHHHHHH man. SO EXCITED!! I chose yellow because it really cheers me up and thought the idea of prescription yellow aviators was pretty snazzy. Idea stolen from here: http://tjandamal.com/
