Well, as you can see, this summer squash fritter looks just like an apple. Nice. I've been making so many squash dishes this week. Squash and peppers, squash alfredo, squash bread, squash open sandwiches, and today, squash fritters. I should have photographed them all to make a giant squash post.

outfits for yesterday and today, yesterday I bought the striped dress for $1 at the flea market (tobacco festival). Perfect.

I needed this day. I didn't really know until it happened. Just out of nowhere, lets go to the beach, have no maps but don't get lost, listen to Juno and Dragula, Listen to the Heroine Diaries over 3 times until we get home, frolic, get sick on ice cream and the hilarity of the drive through man, swallow too much salt water, call Ian, and crash.
